Good Vs Evil

Let’s talk jobs right now. Let me just take this time to express my annoyance and rage towards “job situations” and “careers.” As a person pursuing a fashion design career I just completely hate the fact that there is an extremely large amount of people (not only designers) that work so hard to get somewhere and often times get nowhere in their lifetime. Not at all am I expecting or even wanting things easily handed to me, but the fact that there are hundreds, no thousands and thousands of people that have everything they could ever want PLUS MORE! It is not bad enough our economy (USA) is lower than it has ever been, but for me, as an example, wanting nothing more than to do what I passionately love to do (Fashion Design) and have to wait, work hard, wait, do other jobs I could care less about, wait, work under other designers that have completely different styles, wait.. and the list goes on for maybe YEARS. Let’s take clueless celebrities that sadly became famous for an unleashed sex tape, becoming pregnant at 16, being filmed having sexual intercourse with new people each night, or porn; these people come in and take what could be some of the hardworking civil people’s jobs. I’m sure any other person pursuing fashion design could agree it is painful to see the names of celebrities on clothing and accessories or even hearing interviews of famous people saying they “designed” a new line, NO YOU DID NOT! Quit stealing the dreams of others that would love to do 5% of what you do. Let us get one this straight I seriously am not saying that I wan fame or even millions of dollars, I wish I could just start my career and not have to hit what seems like hundreds of speed bumps and wait years to reach my goals. Although situations such as these motivates me to continue on in achieving my dreams and goals it just greatly upsets me. I believe I am a pretty good person I am ethical, honest, and living what I feel is a good Christian life, but is all that wrong? Is being a bad person, lying, sex, partying, not caring about anything the way to go? It sure does seem like it because not all, but majority or people that get where they want to go do not seem like “good” people. That or they were born into a family that has already established something for themselves. Unfortunately I do have personal values and do not foresee myself being ignorant anytime soon, it just makes me feel that is the only way to achieve anything in this corrupt, crazy world. For a closing statement if you are reading this and have little or no appreciation for “metal music,” I do and have a great amount of respect for the genres that fit inside “metal” because these people work hard to get to where they want to be. Having fewer fans than pop artist and rappers, metal artist do not get mega bucks for album sells and work even harder getting their music out there and tour all around the world for less amount of money because it is what they love. I know when I feel like quitting I think about how hard these people work and it pushes me to continue on.
